We are lucky to have two amazing groomers on staff, available five days a week, ready to help your pet look and feel their best! Our experienced groomers specialize in everything from stylish haircuts to nail polishing and beyond. We also offer medicated baths and treatments for pets with dermatological needs.
And for our feline friends, we’ve got a groomer who absolutely loves cats! We know, though, that cats can be a little tricky when it comes to grooming (especially bath time!). If your kitty prefers to keep things on their terms, no worries – we offer sedated grooming, carefully monitored by our hospital staff to make sure they are safe and comfortable while we get the job done.
Vaccines are Required for Grooming. All pets must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccine!
Meet our Groomers!
Annette
Annette always knew she wanted to work with animals from a young age. She started as a pet sitter in her neighborhood and she got her first real job at a boarding facility in Pennsylvania where she worked her way up into the grooming department. After several years there, she left to pursue her dream as a Humane Society Police Officer with the PSPCA, where she specialized in seeking justice for abused and neglected animals. While working PSPCA, she made her television debut on Animal Planet where she was featured on the show “Animal Cops, Philadelphia.” Annette also worked as a Dog Warden in Tobyhanna, PA before moving back to New Jersey to raise her daughter. She worked at a few local grooming salons before becoming an Adoption Councelor and Animal Control Officer at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center. In November of 2021, she happily jointed our team at AHR and is looking forward to meeting and pampering your pets!
Steph
Steph never dreamed she would be a dog groomer when she grew up. She always thought she wanted to be in the film and television business and even attended Raritan community college for film. While attending college, Steph began working at Petco as a bather. That’s where she found her passion for dogs and grooming. She left college in 2012 and attended grooming school. Ten years later she is still loving grooming and joined the AHR team in 2022. When Steph is not grooming, you can usually find her reading or traveling. She has two standard poodles, Sammy and Zippy, whom she loves to pamper, a cat, and a beta fish at home.
